Ohio Double Header Weekend! JP WGP 2025 Tournament Report

Good evening from the Ohio Weiss Schwarz Group! This is Melanie Lynette here with a tournament report summary for our Double Header JP WGP 2025 Regional events held at Paul’s Gamerzone and The Warp Gate. It was a fun weekend filled with some JP decks and very strong players!

Paul’s Gamerzone: Saturday, September 27th, 2025

We had a small but mighty group of 9 players who battled it out for 2 WGP Invites to JP Nationals in Rochester, NY in November. Here are the sets that came out to play!

After 3 Rounds of Best of 1, 35 minute Swiss we had a clear undefeated and two invites were given out! Special Thanks goes out to Paul’s Gamerzone for opening early to allow us to run the event, and Anthony who was our amazing Tournament Organizer throughout!

The Warp Gate: Sunday, September 28th, 2025

We had an amazing group of 25 players who battled it out for 2 WGP Invites to JP Nationals in Rochester, NY in November. Here are the sets that came out to play!

After 5 Rounds of Best of 1, 35 minute Swiss we had a clear undefeated and two invites were given out! A special thanks to The Warp Gate for allowing us to host the event!

As always, none of these events happen without the help of the players who come out to play. Thank you to Heart of the Cards and JP Bushiroad for allowing us to host the events this weekend. We greatly appreciated the chance to compete, receive fun event PRs, and the winners loved getting playmats this year! Good Luck to those players going to Rochester, NY for Nationals in November!
